My 2nd es 300..best car for easy driving and reliable...blk/blk. . Cold air sunroof cool stereo. Makes me feel safe on the freeway. Very smooth and good gas mileage. I am happy with it - 5.0
Lexus Driver for Life!

This is my second used Lexus ES300, the first being a 1996 model. The first ES I owned never gave me a single major mechanical issue along with regular maintenance after 3 years. Sold the 96 model for my current 00 model and I’ll never look back. It’s the perfect combination of luxurious build quality and engines so robust they last for 300k+ miles without breaking a sweat. The ES isn’t a sports sedan, but it offers about 210hp in the stock v6 engine along with 19 city / 26 hwy MPG. It’s just the kind of car that operates as intended every time you start the ignition. Cost of maintenance/repairs are relatively cheap and affordable if you simply give the car what it needs, which isn’t more than the basics like oil/filter changes. Having basic car knowledge goes a long way in maintaining my vehicle because it doesn’t take more than that with the simplicity of the design. Basically, if you take care of it, it will take care of you in ways that exceed the value you paid for it.The car is pretty much as old as me (22) and operates like it isn’t much older than 5. This is peak-level reliability and Japanese engineering!
