A solid choice
by Boluf on Tuesday, April 22, 2025
I chose the Mazda 3 initially for its 6-speed automatic transmission. Most other manufacturers have gone over to offering only CVTs for their commuter cars. The engine offers a comfortable amount of power for the size of the car, and can be both zippy or economical, depending on driving style. The powertrain is tried and true, which bodes well for long-term reliability. The interior has a premium feel, and the design is both minimalist and tactile. Instead of flashy touchscreens, there are nobs and clicky buttons. The infotainment system is controlled by a wheel and buttons, which is great for minimizing distraction. The car is great to drive. The interior feels like it wraps around the driver. Commuting is a joy. - 5.0
LOVE my Mazda 3 Select
by Christopher on Tuesday, October 05, 2021
I just bought a new Mazda 3 Select and LOVE it. I had a 5 Series BMW previously and after 4 years it turned into a cash pit. The Mazda is far ahead of its competitors in luxury, performance, and style. I love zoom zooming around in it and feel very comfortable with my decision to go from high end luxury to fun and sporty. - 5.0
Amazing 1st Car!!!
by Jackson on Sunday, August 29, 2021
This car is unbelievable for the price. I had considered buying a Honda Civic and I’m so glad I didn’t. Classy modern exterior with a luxuriously sculpted shape. Simple modern interior with amazing quality. The s shaped seats offer great lower back support. Two complaints though… The cup holders are directly below the main USB port, meaning large cups are a no go. The other being the engine and performance, it’s just too slow and doesn’t offer enough kick. Yes I understand it’s a 2.5L 180ish hp, but it just could be more exciting to drive. (Forgot to add that the base mazda audio system is not the best, opt for the BOSE, comes with the preferred and up trims.)
